Oh wait, did we say we’d have a new episode every Monday? By Monday, we meant “whenever we can freakin’ pull it together, which will hopefully be on Mondays but there’s really no way to predict our output, especially since Jen and I live by opposite schedules.”

Was it wrong to make that guarantee? In the words of Brenda Fricker’s shit-stained Home Alone 2 character, “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”

As luck would have it, Jen has taken ill. Don’t be mad at her though, because A) She can’t control her body, and B) I was sick the week before (though I would argue that I have more control over my body than she does over hers).

Anyway, think of Jen and I as the two turtle doves that restore Fricker’s faith in mankind at the end of the movie. Episode 2 will be crapped out soon enough. If you’re lucky, it will land on your shoulder…
